Where to Take Engagement Photos in Orlando: 8 Spots I Love

Your engagement photos do more than announce that you're getting married. They're often the first glimpse your guests get into your wedding day—showing up on save-the-dates, wedding websites, invitations, registry pages, and more.

Because of that, I always encourage couples to think about their engagement session as an extension of their wedding day. The location, outfits, and overall feel of your photos can help tell a cohesive story about the celebration you're planning.

For example, if you're hosting a black-tie wedding at a luxury venue, a polished city setting with elevated attire might feel like the perfect fit. If you're exchanging vows by the water, a beach or lakeside location can help reflect that relaxed, coastal atmosphere. Neither approach is right or wrong—the goal is simply for your engagement photos to feel authentic to you and aligned with the experience you're creating for your guests.

As an Orlando native and wedding photographer, I've spent years exploring some of the most beautiful locations throughout Central Florida. Whether you're looking for classic architecture, lush gardens, waterfront views, or charming streets, Orlando has no shortage of incredible engagement photo locations.

Here are eight Orlando engagement session locations I love:

Baldwin Park

A perfect blend of waterfront views, tree-lined streets, and charming architecture. Baldwin Park offers a clean, timeless look that works beautifully for almost any style of engagement session. If you want to run through lush, tall grass while also having the option to stroll down a lakeview dock, this is the place for you.

Park Avenue

One of the most iconic spots in Central Florida. With brick streets, boutique storefronts, outdoor cafés, and elegant architecture, Park Avenue creates a sophisticated and romantic backdrop. There are so many hidden gem locations to choose from along just one street.

Rollins College

Rollins College feels like a hidden European escape right in the heart of Winter Park. Between the Spanish-inspired architecture, grand archways, and scenic lake views, it's a favorite for couples drawn to a refined and timeless aesthetic. It also happens to be where I took my own engagement photos, so this location holds a special place in my heart—and yes, I may be a little biased.

Kraft Azalea Garden

Nestled along the shores of Lake Maitland, Kraft Azalea Garden offers stunning oak trees, waterfront scenery, and beautiful natural light, especially near sunset. Its iconic pillars offer a standout centerpiece to anchor your photos.

Dickson Azalea Park

One of Orlando's hidden gems, Dickson Azalea Park features charming stone bridges, shaded pathways, and lush natural surroundings that photograph beautifully year-round. For couples who want a location that feels both elegant and organic, Dickson Azalea Park offers the perfect balance of refined charm and natural beauty.

Mead Botanical Garden

If you're drawn to greenery and nature, Mead Botanical Garden provides a variety of scenic trails, open fields, and lush backdrops that feel peaceful and organic.

Harry P Leu Gardens

Filled with vibrant blooms, winding pathways, and beautifully maintained gardens, Leu Gardens is a wonderful choice for couples dreaming of a romantic, garden-inspired engagement session. Just keep in mind that admission fees apply for both the couple and photographer.

Winter Park Library

For a more modern and architectural feel, the Winter Park Library offers clean lines, contemporary design, and unique photo opportunities that stand out from traditional park settings. This is perfect for a sleek, modern engagement session.

If you're looking for an engagement photographer who knows Orlando well and can help you choose the perfect location for your session, I'd love to connect. Whether you already have a favorite spot in mind or need help narrowing down your options, I'm always happy to help couples find a location that feels uniquely them.
